Bridal Showers!

I have neglected to post about the fabulous bridal showers that the sweet women in my life have thrown for me! My old roommate, Katie, (she will be one of my bridesmaids) threw me a surprise bridal shower during finals week with some of our old friends from freshman year. I was totally not expecting it and it was so fun to get together with some of our old friends who have now returned from missions, gotten married, are pregnant, and are moving on to bigger and better things. Right before I left for home, my aunts threw me a family shower which was a blast. These poor, sweet ladies had not only run tons of errands for me checking on fabric, ribbon, and lace, but they also helped me make ALL of my invitations, addressed a bunch of them AND made a lot of the food for the shower. I am so blessed to be related to all of these generous women. Truly, my wedding would not be nearly as beautiful or as perfect without them. Jeff's mom and his sisters (all but Christy) also came and brought their famous orange rolls and a delicious salad. Can't wait to try out both recipes. Here are some pictures from that shower:

I feel so bad that Jeff doesn't get to come and open presents with me, but he assures me that he does not find potholders and bowls as nearly exciting as I do. But we appreciate everyone's generosity and love. We are so blessed to be a part of the lives of such wonderful people! Pictures of the California shower will follow soon.
