Hi everyone! I thought I would give my mom a break and let you all know what I've been up to recently. I turned 9 months old and finally didn't have to get any shots at the pediatrician. I was so happy! I weigh 22 pounds (75th) and am 31 inches long (off the charts). The doctor says I am long and lean which means I am just like my Daddy!
Some other things about me:
- I really love to read books, especially Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? (Thanks, Aunt Christy).
- I love it when my mom helps me do the actions to Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes. My mom sings songs to me all the time and they usually help me stop crying when I'm sad.
- I give the best kisses. I save my slobbery ones for the people I like best.
- I love it when my Daddy holds me and we run around and chase my mom. I laugh and laugh.
- I really like to grab my Dad's ears and kiss the end of his nose.
- I love to go on the swings and growl at my mom if she tries to make me get off too soon.
- And the biggest news is...I finally started crawling!!! My parents bribed me by putting food on the floor and I finally gave in. I still like standing the best, so I usually crawl over to someone or something that can help me stand up. But still, crawling is good for getting me over to things that I'm not supposed to play with like the shades, the trash, and the CD player. Who needs toys when I can play with all of that?
- I've also gotten pretty attached to my mom again. I get mad at the chiropractor because she looks like she is hurting my mom. But I still love to smile and play with people as long as my mom is close by. My mommy says that my attachment is sometimes sweet and endearing and often frustrating. I don't know what any of those words mean.
- My parents call me lots of different names including: Maxers, Max-a-roo, Max Attack, Bubba, Little Man, Sweet Baby, Sunshine, Max Boy, Max-man, Buddy Baby and Little Stinker.
