No, that's actually not Rocky, it is my brother Alex! He just won 1st place in the 171-pound weight class in the Masters Tournament and is off to the State Tournament! In his final match, Alex wrestled a boy who he had just wrestled at the CIF tournament the week before. At that tournament, the boy cut my brother's eye open by hitting him in the head with his head gear, and what's worse (at least, according to my brother) he beat Alex and took 1st place. This time, although the cut opened again (requiring stitches later on) Alex beat him to get 1st place and is on his way to prove his stuff at the state tournament. We are so proud of him! It is his senior year and he is already a champion in our books. Plus, he has been wrestling all season with a torn ligament in his shoulder which will require surgery as soon as the season is over. What can I say? The kid is a machine (and on his way to BYU in the fall!!) Go Alex!

holy moly! Congrats Alex, and I cannot believe that picture... he is getting huge. I still remember using reverse physcology on him ie "Don't you dare go clean your room". Alex cracks me up!
And yes, come up soon and see Tate. We'll go get ice cream or something.
I can't believe that picture, it really could be Rocky. A picture to save for his posterity for sure. Congrats to Alex and best of luck at State.
Wow! Please tell me he can take Jeff down. Jeff needs some humility in his life since all 5 of his sisters can't get him down. Don't tell him I just admitted that :)
